Description
The Science Museum is another favourite for families with plenty of excellent exhibits including famous items from space, flight, time, technology, computing, medicine, travel and more.
It’s free to enter and great for families: for younger kids the excellent Pattern Pod and Launch Pad allow exploration and discovery and some of the shows are well worth a look, including the famous bubble show. It gets extremely busy in the school holidays, so it’s worth getting to the Science Museum early to beat the crowds.
There’s an IMAX cinema and tickets can be bought on the day plus the shop is well-known for excellent educational gifts and souvenirs.
